"That's a good choice." Angela said. "The burgers are good; they cook them on an old fashion grill rather than the new stuff other restaurants do. So they have that smokey flavor. Same for the other meat dishes."
A male waiter came up. "Hello, guys. I'm Jake, and I'll be your server of today. May I start you off with something to drink?"
"I'll have a soda. What kinds do you have?" Angela asked.
"We have Root Beer, Sprite, Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, and Mountain Dew."
Angela thought a minute. "I'll have a Diet Pepsi."
Jake nodded. "You got it. And you sir?"

Atem closed up his menu before responding," A small milkshake, please..vanilla if you have it?" Of course he was willing to settle for most flavors as long as it wasn't TOO out there...so strawberry and chocolate were not ones he objected to.

"Gotcha. One Diet Pepsi and one Vanilla Milkshake coming up." Jake said, writing it down. "Do you folks still need to look over the menu or are you ready to order?"

Atem wasn't sure if Angela made up her mind yet but he hoped she was able to. "I am ready. A regular cheeseburger, please and yes, I would like fries with it." He made a mental note to tell Joey about the place whenever he crossed paths with him.

"I'll have the Cheese Steak sandwich, please. But with no onions."
Jake nodded. "And what kind of Baked Potato would you like with it?"
"Just butter."
"Ok. So that's one regular Cheese Burger with fries and one Cheese Steak sandwich with no onions and a regular baked potato. Correct?"
Angela nodded. "Yep."
Jake took their menus. "Alright then, we're set. I'll bring your drinks in a minute."
The female doctor looked over at Atem. "I've been meaning to ask...could you tell me about when you ruled Egypt? If I'm not prying that is...I just...want to know what it was like."

The former pharaoh chuckled. "No..you're not prying..you're fine. However, I have quite a bit to tell you. " He paused for a moment to gather what he was about to say. "Well at first it was relatively peaceful, but the peace wouldn't last. A thief and soul stealer one day trespassed into the kingdom to wreak havoc, for he was on a quest to obtain the seven millennium items, which could be dangerous when falling into the wrong hands. He used the items to unleash a sinister entity called Zorc the Dark One and things had been chaotic ever since he set foot into my kingdom. Most of my servants and court members perished at his hands.I was forced to trap my soul inside the millennium puzzle so that peace would be restored." He recalled how open minded she was when he told her about who he was;he hoped she wouldn't scoff at what he said.

"Hmm." Atem had to think about this because for the most part he was forced to grow up fast. "Yes, there were..particularly with my friend Mana, and her master Mahaad, who so happens to be the Dark Magician now. But most times were spent working. My father wanted me to follow in his footsteps to be a respectable king and by the tender age of 15 I was."

"At least you had friends to support you. But I can't imagine having to grow up fast and skip out on the rest of your childhood." she looked out at the lake. "My Godpa told me that time flies when you don't realize it...and we should cherish every minute." Angela looked back at Atem. "I will say this through...I hope you will let me show you the fun places around here. And that you'll won't be afraid to let lose once and a while." She immediately became flustered. "I-I mean that I hope you'll be able to experice the fun you've missed and I-I...would like to....help...you." Her face went three shades of scarlet. "Why am I blushing over this?"

Atem looked thoughtful upon hearing Angela's words. He realized how true they were, and what Godpa said was right. Come to think of it, one of his biggest regrets besides the Orichalcos fiasco, was the fact that his childhood ended too soon. It was worth the safety of the world, but even as a pharaoh there were days he missed that feeling. Not to mention it brought a change to his personality, although he did have a sense of humor that wasn't dark. He found that her company was even more enjoyable. 'She is so cheerful, it's inspiring. I can use a woman like her in my life.' He had originally believed Joey had enough goofiness for everyone but he was beginning to rethink that. He gave her an endearing look when he saw how flustered she was."I know what you mean..and thank you. I would like that."

Angela breathed in relief when she heard Atem's response. "Glad he didn't think I was being mean."
Jake came back with their drinks. "Here's your Vanilla Milkshake and Diet Pepsi. Your food should be ready in a few minutes."
"Thank you." She said, while taking a sip. Once he was gone, Angela cleared her throat. "So, what did you like to do in your free time as pharaoh? I imagine that you didn't have much to do since you were so busy."

"Thank you." Atem took a small sip of the milkshake before pushing it away slightly from him and giving Angela his attention."Hmmm." He tapped his chin in thought, mildly amused by how she always asked him thought-provoking questions. "When my cousin wasn't challenging me to duels, on rare occasions I would play hide and seek with Mana. Let me tell you, she was extremely hyper." He couldn't help laughing a little.

"Some of the kids are hyper too." Angela admitted. "And many love to play it...in fact they use it to get out check ups and treatments." She began to laugh. "It drives many of the staff crazy. Did you ever go on horseback? We have horses at the clinic too...for outside therapy. I think you would like them."

Atem couldn't help chuckling along with Angela. He found her laughter to be so infectious and adorable. "Oh yes...all the time," he responded to her question. "In fact, horses was my means of transportation from village to village during those days. Sometimes alone, sometimes with my court members."

The young woman gave him a smile, "It must've been amazing to ride through the desert on the back of a horse. You're welcome to join me for a ride sometime. It's how exericse them when there's no therapy scheduled...I think you and Oberon, our large black stallion, would get along well."
Jack returned with their food. "Ok, one Cheese Steak sandwich with no onions and a regular baked potato for the lady...and one regular cheese burger with fries for the young man. Need anything else?"
"Not that I can think of. Need anything else Atem? Ketchup? Relish?"
