Marik smiled as he hugged her close, He was glad people would be safe. "I promise, I'll never let anyone hurt you again." Marik said before he leaned close to her and kissed her. He was glad the Pharaoh had been able to save him from his dark side for he knew now he could be with the one he loved.

Alison melted in the kiss. She wrapped her arms around him and kissed back with just as much force as he was kissing her with. She wished they could stay like this forever, however they needed to get back to Domino City, now that the tournament was over. As she kissed him, something crossed her mind. His home is in Egypt. She hoped he wouldn't go back there. That would make it hard for the two to see each other.

Marik pulled away as he looked at her "let's go home." he said.
Britt ran with her friends but eventually they returned to the air craft. She sighed wondering what they were to do.

"Couldn't we just take the rescue helicopter?" Tristan wondered. That's right! They could take it. When Marik and Alison got back they saw everyone moving into the helicopter.
"What's going on guys? You know, I stopped the self distrust," said Alison. This meant they no longer needed to hurry, but they still needed some way off the island. "And don't worry about Seto and Mokuba, they're taking our private jet."

"Hey Alison. Then maybe we should get heading home." Britt said even though the self destruct was done. She wanted to go home but she knew there was the matter of her new relationship on her mind. She wondered if they'd go on dates back home.
Marik planned to take Alison out the moment they got home and she felt better.

After they got on the helicopter there was something Marik maybe should tell her. Well, two really. He'd found her step father, plus the thing about their past lives. If he didn't tell her someone else would. Alison was laying on a stretcher in the helicopter as they took off into the air. Suddenly a Blue Eyes jet zoned up next to them, and inside it was Kaiba and Mokuba. Seemed Alison was right.

Marik knew he should tell her but not now since she was injured.
Britt was sitting beside Yami as she looked out the window seeing the Jet. "Well at least she was right." Britt said

Alison was deep in thought. She wanted to beg Marik not to go back to Egypt, to stay with her. But she didn't wish to sound selfish. However, Odion brought it up to him, "Master Marik, when we get back we'll have to head back home. I suppose you'll be wanting to stay in Domino City a bit longer." Huh? Marik had changed now. There was really no longer any need for Odion to call him his master.
Alison thought in her mind, 'Please say you're staying.'

Marik was quiet for awhile but he relaxed back "I am staying in Domino City longer. Odion you don't need to refer to me as Master anymore for you have always been like a brother to me." Marik said.

Odion thanked him, and Alison looked like she was going to cry in joy. Darkness of sleep overtook her before she could say anything else. Yami was cuddling Britt in her lap, "So, what are you going to do when we get back?" He asked her.

Britt smiled as she relaxed but when she heard his question "I'm not sure..I mean my friends are gonna be waiting for me..my twin and my cousin probably wonders what's going on." Britt said as she looked at him "Was there something you wanted to do?"

"What would you like to do?" Yami asked her. He held her close to him. He knew she was glad that Battle City was finally over. Perhaps she could introduce Yami to her sister and friends as her boyfriend.

"I'm not sure." she said, she knew in such a short time in battle city things had changed. She went from a single girl to having a boyfriend. She knew there would be the matter of introducing her friends and her family to him. "My parents will defiantly want to know though." she said

"Well, I can see things are going to get busy when we get back. For awhile I was a bit worried. That whole thing with Marik's evil side had me worried I'd lose you. But I get the feeling he's not really the true enemy I'm meant to face. There was one point where I was looking into the necklace and saw this dark shadow floating in the air. I have no idea what it is. It may be that thing I once saved the world from. It may be why I don't have my memories," Yami explained. He didn't wish to scare her but felt she needed to know. If this was true then that monster in the vision could be the same thing that had killed Alison in her past life.
If Marik was listening that was probably what was on his mind. Protecting Alison from the thing that once took her life. He didn't need what happened in their past lives to repeat itself.

Britt still had the millennium necklace with her. She'd made sure not to lose it. "Maybe that's how my past self lost you." Britt said.
Marik did want to protect Alison and he was listening. He knew somehow he had to keep her safe.
