Kaiba was currently in shock by what he'd just witnessed, "No..." he mumbled, "This can't be possible!" He was too shocked to move.
"We can't attack. It's too risky. The force of our attack could send him to the shadow realm," said Yugi.
"We must trust him," stated Yami. "I activate my magic card Ragnarok."
"NO!" Yami Marik yells through Marik.
"Yes, by removing all monster cards from my hand, deck and graveyard I can activate it. Your reign of terror is over!" Yami cried. Suddenly there was a bright light as Alison's body was lifted up in the air by Yami's monsters. That's right! This is a shadow game, meaning the monsters are real. This was the heart of the cards!
"It can't be! This... is the heart of the cards Yugi spoke of!" Kaiba gasped. NOW he was getting it. As the monsters destroyed Ra along with Yami Marik, they brought Alison back from the dead. She was alive again! Her wounds fully healed. Her body then floated gently back down onto the duel field. She'd wake up soon. As the smoke cleared as well, there stood the good Marik. He had his body back now! And the evil side was now the victim.
"What! This can't be!" Yami Marik gasped, appearing as just an eye, next to Marik. There was only 1 life point left now.

Britt stopped, she was in shock at what she'd just witnessed as well but it did impress her. She knew what it meant to know the feeling of the heart of the cards for she never forgot hearing Yami's voice when it was her dueling Noah.
"I'm sorry again for everything I caused, I'm ready to start new and be a good tomb keeper. I'm sorry Ishizu and Odion for what i've done." Marik said, "No, We can work together..we can rule." Yami Marik said to Marik. "No, it's time to end this." Marik said as he placed his hand over the deck to surrender dropping his life points to Zero.
Once the duel was complete Britt continued forth and helped get Alison up, she knew it would be best Alison not wake up on a hard floor.

She felt dizzy and light headed as she opened her eyes. The first thing she saw was her Marik. "Marik? Marik!" She gasped in happiness. Alison weakly stumbled over to Marik, her body colliding with his. She hugged him tightly. Sobs ranked her body. "I was so scared I'd lose you." She was scared she'd lose him? Wasn't she the one who was dead a few minutes ago?

Marik hugged her and held her close "You're safe now..and I was the one who was scared he'd lose you..I'm sorry for everything I did." He said to her.
Britt watched, she looked to see if she had a cell service here and she didn't.
Man, I gotta tell Zoey and the others what happened here..guess I'll have to wait till after we get home. Britt thought
Marik helped Alison stay standing as he got in his deck and looked at the Pharaoh handing him the Winged Dragon of Ra. "Here Pharaoh, as the Rules of Battle city you are entitled to Ra..but the secrets of how to use them to regain your memories are marked on my back." He said
On his back?! How Horrible! Britt thought

"The winner of the Battle City Tournament is... Yugi Muto!" Roland announced. All his friends cheered. Plus, Yugi was back to his old self, now that the duel was over. But Yami was still in control, so he appeared ghostly next to him. There was something else Marik needed to do as well. Yami probably would need the millennium rod and also the ring as well, to regain his memories. Afterwards, he'd just need to read what was on Marik's back. Could he remove his shirt while still holding onto Alison. Well, Kaiba had just ran up to her. He'd been worried about his sister.

Marik knew that Alison needed medical care so he looked at her "Go with your brother for now, you need someone to take a look and make sure you're alright. I'll be there shortly." He told her. Britt had ran out to get the White tiger card that she'd hid for she knew now she could return it to Alison since the evil side of Marik was free. That took her about five minutes to do as she came back before Marik handed Alison to Kaiba. Britt walked over "Alison, I got this back for you sometime ago..but I hid it so it couldn't be used against the Pharaoh." Britt said as she handed the card to Alison.
Marik had overheard Britt say she'd hid it and he looked at the Pharaoh "Well that's some Queen you have there, risked her life to help you." Marik said

"Nah, give it to the Pharaoh. He'll need it to recover his memories. I don't need it anymore. I thought I needed it to be strong. But I now know, strength comes from the heart. It took this tournament to make me realize that. Plus, I still have my Dark Magician Girl card," Alison smiled. She must really like that card. Unknown to anyone it was cause the monster used to be human and in her past life Alison and her had grew up together, like sisters, though they weren't sisters.
"Are you sure about this?" Yami asked her.
"Yes, it will help you. And you can think of me whenever you play it," Alison told him.
"Thank you," Yami told her.

Britt nod in understanding as she walked over to Yami and handed it to him. She figured they'd talk later about her taking the risk of hiding it. Marik carefully removed his shirt now that his hands were free and turned to show the carving on his back. Britt still thought it was horrible and she couldn't imagine the pain he must of gone through to get it.
This is really bad..It covers his whole back the poor guy..no wonder darkness lurked in waiting. Britt thought

However, his love for Alison would never make him go down that path ever again. Her love for him would make him happy from now on. Yami tried to read it but couldn't. Kaiba had already led his sister back to her room and had returned. "Yug, can you really read this chicken scratch?" Joey wondered. Hey! That chicken scratch is what Marik had gone through a lot of pain for.
'I can't read this at all. It's just a lot of symbols. We need more information,' Yami thought.
However, just as Marik was handing him the rod and the ring Kaiba cried out, "Okay, that's the end of this! The Battle City Tournament is over! So, if you all want a ride home I suggest you board the air craft right away, cause in one hour this island will explode!" What? Why would Kaiba do something this serious? Just cause he lost the tournament?

Britt knew this was going to be something they'd have to look into "Alright, we need to go then fast." Britt said as she glared at kaiba. She hated him for the way he was toward people and more importantly to put them on a time crunch to get out.

Kaiba and Mokuba ran off to the tower to set things up. They tried to get the air craft to work but it wouldn't even start up. What was the deal here? Suddenly, Ishizu and Odion came out and up to Marik, "Alison's missing from her room. We can't find her anywhere," stated Ishizu.
"Plus, Kaiba and Mokuba still aren't back," replied Odion. Kaiba and Mokuba was bad enough but Alison shouldn't be wondering around in her condition. She needed her rest, after what she'd been through. Plus, it wasn't long before the island would blow up, taking Marik's dear Alison with it. He'd need to find her and fast.

Britt knew it was bad "We have to go, wherever she is, Mokuba and Kaiba have to have her." Britt said, she knew right now they had to get off the island or they would go with it.

"Ok, I'll check this way with Britt. Tea, Joey, Tristan, you go that way. Odion, Ishizu you check over there. And Marik..." Yami looked towards the tower Kaiba and Mokuba had went to, "You check the tower. Maybe she followed after Kaiba and Mokuba." The group split up, searching for Alison, Kaiba and Mokuba.
At this very moment, Alison was in the tower. She was at the computer, "Cancel self distrust," she ordered.
"Who's speaking?" The computer asked.
"Alison Kaiba," she told it.
"Identification card please," said the computer. Alison pulled out her charm that had Mokuba and Kaiba pictured in it as children. The one that looked like a duel monsters card. She slid the thing into the slot on the computer. "Self distrust canceled."
"Woah, that was close. Good thing I had over heard Odion and Ishizu talking in the hallway or I may have been too late to stop it," Alison sighed.

Marik was looking every were for Alison. "Alison!" Marik said
Britt was searching with Yami and their friends. She couldn't understand where Alison could of gone.

As she turned getting ready to walk out of the room Marik had entered, "Oh, Marik. I stopped the self distrust," she told him with a grin, "Everything's safe now." She took the charm out of the slot on the computer and put it back up. She still looked a bit weak though. She shouldn't be up. She should be resting, not walking around. She leaned into Marik for comfort. She was still so glad the man she loves was safe.
