I know this was done by 20th Century Fox and not Walt Disney but still holds the standard as the classics..
So, anyway..I remember when my sister and I first saw this movie..if memory serves me correctly, it was in late '97 and I was in 7th grade at the time. I enjoyed it and Anastasia's nickname Anya was cute. I love the songs more than anything..especially Once Upon a December (I love both the movie version and Deana Carter's version..she did an awesome job with it), Journey to the Past..and Learn to Do It..I LOLed at some parts of that song, namely the part where 3 year old Anastasia terrorizing the cook and threw him in the brook..to this day I am like "How could a little girl throw a full grown man in the brook?"..unless she has super human strength, that's not possible..who knows. I also owned the Sing-Along on VHS but I am not sure where it disappeared to..I know there are people who borrowed movies and didn't return them..but whatever..I don't use VHS anymore anyways.

I also liked the "Once Upon a December" part with the people from the paintings coming to life and Anastasia getting a pretty dress and dancing with her father and the part where Dimitri and Vladimir did "Anastasia" auditions always made me laugh. XD On the other hand Rasputin used to scare me but not anymore and now I enjoy his "In the Dark of the Night" song.

Christopher Lloyd did an excellent job of playing Rasputin, and I thought the animation was spectacular. This was another movie that became a favorite for me, and I still listen to it to this day
