Atem frowned in thought. He had remembered his conversation with Angela about the subject. Nearly all sounded promising, yet the Research and Gallery Assistant caught his attention. But the latter was what sounded more like what he was looking for. "Can you tell me what all the Gallery Assistant position involves?" He wanted to make sure.

"Of course, the Gallery Assistant does administrative and creative tasks. Their duties range from managing correspondence to monitoring visitors. They are typically responsible for special events, the safety of the gallery's collection and the gallery's computer systems. They also manage communication with visitors and other outside parties. They may also help setup and breakdown exhibits and coordinate on- and off-site events." She paused to let him absorb the information. "Does that help?"

"Yes it does. Thank you." Atem thought of all the drawbacks and strong points of both jobs. While he liked that it would keep him busy since that was what he was going for, the downside was he wasn't particularly a creative person when it came to that. Another thing was while he was more than capable of dealing with people and different personalities, it wasn't something he went out of his way to do."I would like to look into the Research position, if possible," he decided.'Angela will be please, I imagine, but she had nothing to do with this decision.'

"Very well, sir. There is one spot open in our 'Ancient Civilizations'; they mostly try to find the exact time period each piece came form and see if the artifacts are legit or fake. Fake artifacts are more common than ever these days...so we need all the help we can get. Does that sound alright for you?" She asked.

Atem's lips curled into a small smile as he realized how perfect the job was for him. The subject happened to be a specialty to him considering he had been there and done that. He silently thanked Ra before answering ,"Yes it does. It's perfect." 'Soon, Angela will know why I chose it. '

"Very good, I'll set up a meeting for you and the head of the department." The woman said, typing on the computer. "It seems there's an opening on Friday this week at 4:30 p.m. Would that suffice?"

Atem didn't know of Angela's plans that day, but he would check with her and make arrangements to get there on his own if he had to. "Yes, not a problem at all. I will see you then. Thank you for your assistance." He extended a hand for her to shake.

The woman shook his hand. "It was my pleasure, sir. And be sure to bring any papers you might have if this isn't your first job; it's required by law."
She looked over at where Angela was sitting. "I hope you and your lady enjoy the Museum."

Atem was a little rattled about the papers part, but knew he had nothing to worry about since he never had an official job before. "This happens to be my first job, but I will keep that in mind. Thank you again. You enjoy your day." He walked away to find Angela, where he had left her. He had a small smile on his face. Things were starting to look up. "Angela, I am back.I hope I have not kept you waiting too long. Are you ready?"

Angela grinned when he came back and stood up. "Oh, you didn't keep me waiting long at all. And yes, I'm ready. Lead the way."
(Then next part is all yours.)

"I would be delighted to." Atem led her to a basement he had once met up with Ishizu when she had told him of his destiny the first time. He wanted to see if the tablet was still there as there was much he had to tell Angela of it. To his relief, the stone tablet entitled "Tablet of the Pharaoh" was there. There was another tablet next to it that recorded the events of the past seeing as how he got his memories back and the events already occurred. "This is the start of you knowing who I am. It may sound farfetched to you, but the image of the pharaoh you see carved is actually me. I was once a pharaoh in Ancient Egypt, and although I appear as a teenager, I am actually 3000 years old. It was that long ago I ruled as pharaoh. And the sorcerer next to the carving is my rival, friend and cousin. His reincarnation is the gaming president, Seto Kaiba." He went up to the tablet next to it that contained the text. "This one contains my life story. My loyal court and I would have mystical duels with real monsters..at first they were friendly duels, but an ancient evil arose and threatened our safety, and I was forced to seal the magic away within the millennium items, including my soul. To accomplish this, I wiped my memory clean." He thought of how he should explain the next part, and although he and Yugi were having problems, he still considered Yugi a friend. "There is more. In this millennium, Yugi Mutou solved the millennium puzzle and it enabled me to co-inhabit his body, because that evil would return. We became friends and I have also bonded with his friends. We went on many adventures together until I finally regained my memories.Just recently, we faced each other a duel that was a test to see if we were ready to be separated from each other, and show how much we have grown." He didn't really care to mention how griefstricken Yugi was that he had done the right thing in setting him free. "Ra made a proposition for me to return in a body of my own under the condition that I find a jewel, and that is how I am able to stand in front of you today.

Angela stood still, taking in all the information. And while any normal person would call Atem insane...she didn't. The golden eyed woman played with the strap of her purse. "Wow...this is...quite a story. And to tell the truth, it does explain a few things; your manners, the way you hold yourself, even the clothes you were wearing when we met. It all makes sense now." She looked into his dark purple eyes. "I understand why you wanted to wait to show me this before telling me about yourself....you thought I wouldn't believe you. But I do! In Ireland, where I grew up, magic and spirits are everywhere. It's like Egypt...every rock, plant, animal, and speck of soil has magic. It's because of that that I'm in tuned to all around me." Angela placed a hand on the pharaoh's shoulder. "And pharaoh or not...I'm glad to have met you, Atem." ~*~ Yugi and his Grandpa had searched all the places he thought the pharaoh would be...and nothing. "Are you sure there isn't anywhere we haven't looked, Yugi?" Grandpa asked. The young man tugged on his bangs, "I'm thinking...I'm thinking..." A thought then struck him, and mentally smacked himself for not thinking of it before. "He might be at the museum...that's where we found the tablet which told of his past." "Then let's go."

Atem felt like a huge weight had been lifted off his shoulders, both because Angela now knew who he was to an extent, and because she had not scoffed at him. Though it would be rather foolish if she had, since the evidence was right there in front of her. It also showed him she understood there were things that could not be explained and how open minded she truly was. His face turned a slight shade of red when she was complimenting his manners, and while the old him would have flinched, he felt relaxed. It actually gave him butterflies. "I am glad to have met you as well, Angela." He gazed into her eyes, giving her a genuine smile. At this moment all of his problems he had when he first returned seemed non-existent. And for a change, he found someone who did not treat him like garbage or put him on a pedestal at first glance, but with genuine kindness. 'Could it be possible for me to have a future with this woman? No, it's far too early for those types of thoughts!' He gave her a thoughtful look. "If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask."
~~~~~~~
Yugi made sure his tennis shoes were tied properly before leading his Grandpa to the Domino Museum. He made sure to walk at a reasonable pace since he knew it was hard for him to keep up at times.
"So where would you like to look first?" Mr. Mutou asked. "Keep in mind this is a large museum."
"Yugi scratched beneath his chin. "Well, I have a hunch that he may be in the room with the stone tablet. I kind of want to see if it is still there."
Mr. Mutou gave this some thought. "Excellent idea. I would have suggested that."
The two Mutous headed toward the basement that contained the tablet with the pharaoh and sorcerer on it. When they were about to enter, Yugi stopped short. His eyes widened and jaw dropped open. There Atem was. It wasn't Atem's presence that surprised him, but the fact that he was with a girl. 'Who is that girl? Don't tell me Atem found a girlfriend already. ' He was at a loss for words.
"Well, there is a few questions I'd like to ask you." Angela said, while removing her hand from his shoulder. "The first is: Did Ra tell you how long you have this body? Is there a certain time limit? And second: Tell me about this jewel...I'll help you find it." She felt her cross become hot; even through it was over her shirt, being so close to the ancient pharaoh.
"Thank you, I appreciate it." Atem tapped on his chin a bit before continuing, "Well with the help of the gem, I can have what is called a normal life span." He fell silent for a bit as he recalled what was said to him before he came to earth. It had been a lot to digest, but the good thing was once he paid close attention, he had an impeccable memory. "This gem is called the Gem of Life and there is a keeper of it. " He slowly related the legend of it Ra had told him of it, being careful not to leave details out. "Very intriguing, isn't it?"
