My all time favorite games. I went back and started trying to collect all the handhelds brand new but they're quite costly. So far I got all of Generation 1 and almost Generation 2. I just need Pokemon Crystal then I can move on to the GBA titles. Don't buy the GB and GBC ones used, unless you want a dead battery.
I have even heard that some users are selling fake copies of Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Fire Red and Leaf Green online. So, be careful you don't get a fake copy when buying the GBA games. The fake copies never keep a saved state and can fall apart easily. Also, the sticker falls off easily. That's not even the worst part. The worst part is the game can glitch out on you and crash, or even mess up your system. This is why when I buy them I'm buying brand new and factory sealed, so I won't get ripped off.
Here's how to tell fakes from real games:

Wow, I had no idea that there are people out there who sell fake game copies. That's a very useful tip to know. I don't really play Pokémon games but I liked the ones that I used to play when I was younger so much that I still have them. My favorite one is Pokémon Snap for the Nintendo 64 in which you play as the Pokémon photographer Todd Snap and go around an island taking pictures of many different Pokémon for Professor Oak.

Ya, they're not really 100% fakes but they were hacked onto a blank card from the person's PC, so you're playing from a Rom that was copied over to the card.
