Yugi nodded. "Yes he was. He has taught me a lot of things and I have also taught him. He was like family to my friends and me." He stopped, when he realized how much he had revealed..he didn't intend to. He tapped his chin. ' Maybe I should tell her. What would it hurt?' He proceeded to tell her about owning the millennium puzzle and Atem. He spoke of their adventures to defeat different enemies on the journey to recover his lost memories, which led him and the others to go with him to Egypt, ending with how he had to partake in a Ceremonial Battle which would determine whether Atem was destined to continue sharing his body or in be set free in the after life. "I know it would have been cruel and selfish of me to lose on purpose so he could have stayed and defeating him was the right thing to do, but I still wished he could have remained without being trapped in my puzzle. His virtues are with me, so it's like he had never left, but it's not the same."

Britt was surprised and she looked at him with a caring looked. "I wish I could of met him, he sounds like a great guy." She said but she now understood why Yugi had been upset Everytime Egypt was mentioned in their conversations. "He's with people that care about him though, but I guess I understand. It would of been nice if he could return right. You'd have your friend back." Britt said

Yugi lowered his head so Britt wouldn't be able to see him getting misty-eyed. "I know. But I guess it'll never happen." He felt disgusted without himself for not being able to be stronger. "He would probably scold me for being spineless if he could see me right now," he said a bit bitterly.

"Yugi it's not spineless to miss a friend, you are allowed to grieve over a loss." Britt said in trying to help him understand it. She could see this really did make him upset about his friend. She wished there was something she could do.

The corner of Yugi's lips started to quirk up, giving a small smile. "Thank you, Britt, that means a lot." He suddenly looked thoughtful. "You know, although we just met, I feel like you have been a long time friend. Of course, I never intended to drag you into my problems."

"Be honest Yugi, I have this strange feeling that our meeting wasn't by coincidence." She said as she sighed but then she rubbed her shoulder. "Besides I'm probably going to be in big trouble when I get home." She said as she looked over at her bracelet.

"Oh?" Yugi frowned in concern, peering down at her bracelet. "And why is that? Also, I have noticed your bracelet looks like a millennium item. Would you mind if I asked you to tell me a bit about it and the powers it possesses?"

"A Millennium item?" Britt asked in confusion and she sighed knowing that her parents didn't know how she discovered Valley of the Queens. "I don't know. I just put it on before i came here and I don't know why but I can't get it off." She said but she decided to tell Yugi more than she knew her parents knew but her twin knew. "About Valley of the Queens...It's not coincidence we found it..According to Bre I was in a trance and this bracelet was in a tomb she found me in.." Britt said as she looked down knowing that she could tell Mr. Motou where it was.

"Hmm." Yugi twisted his mouth to the side.'There has to be more to it.' He mentally kicked himself for confusing the girl and realized he had better explain. "Well, you see, there were 7 millennium items around the time my friend Atem was around: The millennium puzzle, which I had in order to merge with Atem, the scale,the necklace, the ring, the key, the rod and the millennium eye. They all have magical powers that can be used for good or evil. It all depends on the intention of the person holding it and when used for evil, they unleashed a magic strong enough to destroy the world."

Britt nod in understanding more about the millennium items. she was glad that Yugi could tell her and that she could tell someone else about her weird experience in Valley of the Queens.

Perhaps they might be able to tell you, if my theory is not correct." Yugi didn't want Britt getting in trouble seeing as how the same thing had happened to Bakura in that his millennium ring seemed to have a mind of its own.

Britt looked at her bracelet and then she looked at Yugi. "So you mean it could be apart of something? Only I don't know what it could be apart of." Britt said but he did have a good point on telling her parents about it. "I'm gonna have no choice, it won't come off and if it's still stuck on my wrist when I start school I'll just have to wear it." She said

Yugi dried his semi-damp hands on a dishcloth before gently resting one of them on the small of her back. "Yes. There must be a reason. Don't worry. Everything will be fine." He have her a reassuring look.

Britt nod in agreement glad that she didn't have to keep it secret for long and that she could talk to someone besides Bre about the situation. She smiled some knowing that this was much different then she'd expected when she came to Domino City.

Yugi started to feel a bit better, now that he poured out his feelings he kept pent up inside for so long. "Once again I apologize if I gave the impression my change in mood was your fault. It's just me." He managed a small smile.
