Britt smiled as she walked in "thanks Yugi." She said as she relaxed. She had a lot on her mind. She went and sat down while doing all the thinking. She'd brought a paper and pen with her as she started writing down everything she'd learned about the past. Things she still wasn't certain on had question marks near them.

Yugi entered afterwards and was about to yell he was home and Britt came, but he remembered his grandpa would still be at the shop around this time, so he would have to entertain Britt on his own for a bit. "I imagine you wanna get situated and unwind right about now. Afterwards, what would you like to do?"

Britt had been writing in her notebook when she placed it down and she looked up at Yugi trying to smile. "It's fine. um, you have any games we could do?" She asked wanting to get calmed down. In her notebook she'd wrote everything she'd saw down to the word wedding dress. She still wasn't a hundred percent sure who her king was so it had the word king with a question mark on it. She didn't know her bracelet had sent a distress signal out with her having that threat note and being scared.

Yugi scrunched up his brow and tapped his chin, thinking. "Hmmm..I have the Capsule Monsters board game. There was one time I played it with my friends at school and when we travelled to India with some tickets Joey had won, we became a part of it."
Atem was currently at Mr. Mutou's shop, paying him a visit when he noticed his puzzle glowing, which alerted him. 'Hmm?' He felt a sharp pain in his chest. It took everything in him not to grunt in pain because he didn't want to worry the old man. 'Someone is in trouble. It must be Britt. ' He looked up at Mr. Mutou. "I'm sorry, but I have some business to attend to."
"Well, all right, then. Thank you for coming to visit," said Mr. Mutou, smiling warmly. "You are welcome anytime."
Atem nodded. "Thank you." He exited the shop and teleported inside Yugi's home. He spotted Britt writing something and Yugi talking to her.

Britt thought about it "never played capsul monsters. I guess I could learn." She said. She hadn't noticed Atem when she looked at her writing she hadn't wanted to face this but she knew she had to. "So much I don't know and yet that note threatening to kill me terrifies me..no doubt about it when they called me the Queen..only I can't defend myself if I don't even know this other side of me." Britt said but it was her bracelet that made her realize they were not alone when she looked up he noticed Atem.

Yugi smiled a bit. "It's very simple...and similar to Duel Monsters, which I know you're quite good at." He stood up to go get the board game when he noticed Atem standing there and he nearly jumped a mile." Oh Atem, it's you! Hi."
"Hello," answered the former pharaoh with a small smile."
"How long have you been here?" asked Yugi.
"Just moments ago," answered Atem, chuckling a bit awkwardly. "And greetings to you, too, Britt. It's a pleasure to see you again. "

Britt nod. "Yes it is. Um thank you for the flowers yesterday." She said. She wondered if he heard her say she was the Queen.
Atem is the only King we know that is here..could he be the one my past self was married to? Britt thought.
She kept her notes in her hand as she stood up. She looked at the board Yugi had and smiled. "Yes, this will defiantly get my mind off of that threatening note and those black flowers we saw today." Britt said to Yugi.

"The pleasure is all mine," answered Atem, smiling. His brow furrowed when he heard Britt talk about a threat and a black rose. It suddenly clicked in his mind why his puzzle had reacted the way it did and why he was feeling the discomfort. 'The millennium items' reaction to each other--then it means Britt and I did share a bond at one point. The play is an accurate depiction.'
Yugi set up the board and explained how the rules worked--each player took a turn playing a capsule monster and the one whose life points reached zero first would win..also attacks points were not anything. Atem smiled at this..he remembered the game all too well, although they were not all pleasant memories, what with King Alexandros III's dark side wreaking havoc just for power.

Britt nod in understanding but she did think it would at least calm her down for now. "Hm not sure if I'll be any good at this but I'll give it a try." She said with a smile. She put her notes down as she relaxed ready to play.
This is just what I need to get all this off my mind. Figuring out my past won't come all at once so I'll just enjoy today. Britt thought.
"Maybe while I'm staying here Yugi you could show me your grandpa's game shop." Britt said

"Sure. We can go after this game," said Yugi cheerfully. "I'll go first just to give you an idea." He moved the capsule forward that contained Celtic Guardian. "It's your turn now."
Atem wasn't sure how to keep himself entertained while the two were gonna start their game. "Britt, do you still need me? Or shall I go now?"

Britt watched Yugi take his turn she was still a little hesitant about what to do but she moved a piece on her side forward. She heard Atems question on if he needed her. "I'm not sure. I won't lie and say everything's alright but I don't really want to risk people getting hurt because of me." Britt said. Truthfully she didn't know if it was so safe to be staying with Yugi. She didn't want her friend getting hurt by this past enemy because of her. She looked down "for now whoever is after me may not know where I'm at but returning home when my parents return won't be an option..it'll put my family at risk." She said. It was clear she didn't know how to handle this situation right then. "How did you know I was in distress to come here?" She asked knowing neither her or Yugi had asked when he first arrived.

Yugi noted Britt's cautiousness and gave her a reassuring look. "Relax. It's all right. You're getting the hang of it." He tapped his chin as he contemplated his next move. "I sacrifice my Celtic Guardian in order to summon a powerful level capsule, Summoned Skull. I move it forward to attack your monster."
"My puzzle started reacting, and somehow it led me to you," answered Atem. "Not to worry, whoever our enemy is, we will face together and I shall protect you." He wondered if she even knew he faced dangerous foes before. He was sure Yugi would have told her all about them.

Britt knew she had to come up with a strategy.
If only Goddess of the Nile was part of this game maybe I wouldn't be struggling. Britt thought
She heard Atem and a smile tugged at her lips but then her bracelet flashed as she put a hand on the floor and on her head. She didn't know why but these memories came with no warning. She waited for it to be over before she looked up like she had an answer for one of her questions. But she turned her attention to the game and used another one to play. Then she got her notes and wrote in it.
"One mystery down. Many to go." She said as she put her notes down.
Atem saying he'd protect me, it triggered a memory. The play wasn't just a play..it was similar to the past. So I really acted stubborn about marrying him and when I got to know him I fell in love.. Funny how I asked Yugi to get him to be the back up maybe it was just meant to happen like this but I can't force myself to be like in the past..love. Guess I gotta let destiny take it's path and show me how to love him again. Everything is starting to make sense now if only i can know who the enemy is. Britt thought
She looked at Atem "I know about your adventures with enemies when you were with Yugi. He's told me about them. But I don't want to get people hurt that's why when my parents come back...I'm gonna have to find somewhere else to stay. I can't stay here when they get back it would put Yugi in danger and I won't put my siblings and parents in harms way either. So we'll have to figure out something while my parents are away for a few days." Britt said

Yugi could see Britt was extremely worried about the situation, but he didn't know how to ease her distress. He had tried his hardest to reassure her but nothing he said worked. 'I imagine her parents would be angry if Grandpa let her and her siblings leave..besides, who knows if any other place would be able to keep her safe.' He placed his chin in his hand.
Atem looked at Britt with a firm expression on his face, his usually gracious tone of voice becoming a bit stern. "Look, I know this is difficult for you, but we are not alone in this battle, and the success of Yugi and I rides on your shoulders. You have to trust that we can win, but if you don't, we won't have the strength. You can get hurt if you fight alone." He hoped he had gotten through to her.

Britt knew that both were trying to help. But she couldn't just let her sisters get involved so she looked at Atem. "Ok. You're right. But look at it the way I am. I have siblings that I have to protect. Yugi and his friends may already be involved but I don't want Bre and Nana apart of this. Weaknesses are just what evil looks for." Britt said and then she turned away.
This isn't gonna be easy. Britt thought
"Maybe I can find clues in what my parents delivered to the museum. And they're in Egypt right now so maybe they can find some answers. Proficies are always talking about evils coming there should be a way to figure out what may be coming." She said in trying to help the situation.
Suddenly her amulet had a glow and a image of a Goddess was before her. She was shocked at that moment for she recognized this one as Anuket Goddess of the Nile, her past life's Goddess she prayed to. She got down in front of her as she knew it wasn't just an image.
"Stop child. You need to relax and let the pharaoh help you. No harm shall come to your siblings and your gift will help too." Anuket said.
"But it's a lot to handle. What gift? " she asked
"You were not referred to be the Nile Princess for nothing. You had a gift that the Nile waters would help and protect you in your past. It was also used for healing purposes. So remember that water may help you in this fight too." Anuket said
Britt nod but she wouldn't look up. The goddess made her look "one more thing. Open your heart to allow that strong bond back. The only way to truly stop this is to be the same team with him as you were back then." Anuket told her before the image stopped leaving her to blink with a slight blush.
