"Ow! Cut it out Tristan," Joey gasped.
However, right when Ra attacks Yami calls out, "Not so fast Marik. I activate Fiend Sanctuary!" That was the card Kaiba gave him!
"That's the card I gave him. But... Yugi played that card without even looking at it." Kaiba looked to be in shock. 'Now let's see if he knows how to use it.' Everyone watched as a magical symbol appeared on the field. Then a token made of beads appeared. Kaiba smiled, "Now Marik's monster will attack that token instead of attacking Yugi's life points."
"Huh? What's that? It looks like me?" Yami Marik wondered.
"That's right, it is. You know why? Because I am no longer the target of your attack. Now your Winged Dragon of Ra shell attack you!" Yami yelled. "And as I recall, you've given all but one of your life points to Ra, meaning you'll be wiped out by your own creature, making me the winner."
"Ra won't destroy me," Yami Marik looked confused by this. However, he was sweating as he said this, looking nervous.
"With only one life point, I'm afraid you don't have much of a choice!" Yami demanded. Now Britt was probably no longer worried as it seemed like her Pharaoh was about to win. But what about Marik's good side? She was probably a bit worried about him.

'I must stop Ra from attacking or I'll lose the duel!' Yami Marik thought, panicking. Unknown to anyone, right when Ra attacked, Yami Marik flipped a card he had face down on the field, activating it just in time.
"It's over," claimed Yami as the smoke cleared. He then gasped as Yami Marik stood there, unharmed and still had all his life points, "How did you survive?"
"I activated the card De-Fusion, the card I took from you a few turns back. It unfused me from Ra just in time, saving my life points," Yami Marik pointed out. Well, at least Marik's good side was safe, but the bad news was it was going to be a much longer duel now.
"Just as I expected. Yugi wasn't able to properly use my card after all," Kaiba sighed. Hey! That was rude.

"Give him time Kaiba! He'll win you jerk!" Britt said, her anger flarred when Kaiba talked crap about her pharaoh.

"Whatever, if you can't see Yugi's already lost that's your business," Kaiba told her. That jerk! It was still shocking how such a kind person as Alison had such a rude twin brother. Plus, Kaiba should have more faith than this. After all, his sister's life was on the line.
"Now that I've regained my life points my weaker half regains his body from the shadow realm," Yami Marik told Yami.
"Alison... I'll save you..." Marik mumbled in his unconscious state. What? Seemed he'd be waking up any minute now. Ishizu gasped at hearing her brother speak. She wondered if Britt heard him too. As for Yami Marik, Ra and Monster Reborn return to the graveyard.
"Now, I play one card face down and end my turn." Yami Marik ended his turn, not even noticing his good half had just spoken.

Britt saw that Marik was saying that he would save Alison. She knew Yami would have to get a good card to win.

"In order to maitain Metal Fiend Token on the field Pharaoh, you'll have to give up 1,000 life points every turn," Yami Marik pointed out. Yami turned to Yugi, "He's right! And with every turn I lose a piece of you to the darkness." Yugi nodded, "No problem, just beat this guy." Yami takes his turn, "I'm sorry to put you threw this Yugi." Turns to Yami Marik, "I give 1,000 life points to keep my Fiend Token on the field." Yugi cries out in pain as he feels his arm vanishing into the shadows. "Fine with me. After all, it's Yugi who suffers. Just so you can keep a useless creature on the field," Yami Marik sighed. "Perhaps, Yugi does know the other use for my magic card," Kaiba wondered. Right when he said that, Yami got the idea, "I activate the card Multiply to increse the number of Fiend Tokens I have on the field to three." "Yugi did it! He managed to make the most of my magic card." Kaiba was impressed. "I sacrifice my three metal fiend tokens, to summon this... Obelisk the Tormentor! Behold! The Egyptian God card I won from Kaiba!" Yami cried, summoning Obelisk. He then has Obelisk attack Yami Marik. 'I will not be destroyed!' Yami Marik cries in his head, as Obelisk punches him, sending him flying backwards a few feet. Britt watched as Yami Marik's life points were down to 700, she smiled. "Yes!" Britt said
"You're one attack away from Defeat Marik!" Yami yelled.

Both Kaiba and Ishizu looked worried though, wondering why Yami Marik would allow himself to be attacked so easily. Unless... it was a trap! He did have a face down card on the field. He must be planning to counterattack. Yami Marik gets to his feet, "Impressive Pharaoh. But did you forget? Whenever I lose life points my weaker half loses more of himself to the darkness. Now, there's hardly none of him left. Look at him as he slowly drifts away, thanks to you. And to think, he was once your loyal servant. It's nice to see he's getting repaid by his king. I've been wanting to get rid of him for awhile now. So, feel free to attack me again, and fulfill the promise you made to Ishizu, by destroying her brother!"
"Be careful. We can't lose Marik's good side. We promised Ishizu he'd be saved. And what would Alison think if she woke up to find Marik gone?" Yugi told Yami.
"You're right Yugi. I know she cares for him, but the whole world is at stake. If we lose this, then everyone suffers, not just Marik and Alison," Yami pointed out.
"There must be a way to save the good Marik and the world," Yugi pointed out. Marik had actually woken up and was listening in. He was probably shocked by this. Why was the Pharaoh wanting to help him after everything he's done to his friends? He even turned Alison against him and used her like a tool, even though he loved her. Wait! If he was going to be lost to her, he still had a bit of time to see Alison one last time. His spirit could travel all around the ship and be in two places at once. Even though she was out, maybe Marik could still get threw to her and wake her, if he spoke to her.

Ally, currently was by herself, still in her coma, in her room. In her coma state, she thought she felt a warm presence touching her. A nice gentle and caring touch at that. She was half awake and suddenly she thought she heard Marik's voice speaking to her. (he confesses his feelings and apologizes and says how much he cares for her and wishes they could of been together, Yami Marik's growing in power as he fades away. Then his ghostly lips could kiss her, then he fades away)

Britt knew this was bad but she also knew that she'd seen a vision of the future. Something to look forward to which was seeing her pharaoh and Joey duel.
the good side of Marik wanted to help defeat his evil side so he could get back his body to get Alison back. Ishizu was watching the duel and she knew somehow her brother was supposed to survive.

(I guess I'm going to have to have him speak to her. And you wonder why I'm not posting much. I'm getting bored cause it seems you're devoting lots of time to your couple and none for mine. I wanted this scene to be sweet.)
"Alison, I'm sorry you've had to go through so much pain. It's my fault I know. If you hadn't came along and made me realize what I was doing was wrong I don't know where I'd be now. Now I realize, it was you who controlled the darkness within me, holding him back. It's because I love you. But, when you were hurt, my dark side took over. Now, I'm drifting away, as his power increses." Marik's ghostly lips find their way to her soft lips as he kisses her. "Goodbye Alison. I love you and I'm sorry I used you like a tool for my revenge. Farewell..." His spirit suddenly vanished from sight.
"MARIK!" Alison gasped, suddenly waking up in bed, "No! Marik, please! I can't lose you like this!" Just knowing what was going on, she stumbled out of bed, pulling all the equipment off her. She slipped on her shoes and walked weakly to the door, opening it and stumbling out into the hallway, "Don't worry Marik, I'm coming." She held her side painfully as she walked on.

"You have no hope Pharaoh! My trap card can stop your god card," Yami Marik told him.
"What? There's no way," Yami replied.
"Yes it can. I needed to lose half my life points to use it. Which I just did, thanks to you," Yami Marik laughed. So! THAT'S why he let Obelisk attack him, "Metal Reflect Slime, creates a plasma creature which takes on the shape of the attacking monster. Meaning, your Obelisk." A slimy creature appeared and suddenly turned itself into a sliver colored Obelisk, "Meet my Egyptian God Slime."
"It's an exact copy of my monster!" Yami gasped.
"Oh, I assure you my Egyptian God Slime is much more powerful than you think," Yami Marik told him.
"Fine, I sit one card face down and end my turn," Yami stated.

Britt was worried, she knew that this was bad.
the good side of Marik has been reduced down a lot..Yugi is in danger..and worst of all We don't know what's to happen of Alison..What can be done? Britt thought
the good side of Marik looked up at the Pharaoh "Find a way to defeat my dark side! He needs to be stopped." The Good mark said to Yami said

"Huh?" Joey turned when he heard Tea talking weird. Everyone then realized that Marik was inside Tea. "After what you did! You bet Yugi's going to win. You used our friend Alison against us! Now, get out of my friend Tea's head so Yugi can kick your evil butt once and for all Marik!"
"No, you got it wrong. Master Marik truly did love Alison. That was why he ended up changing after she got hurt," Odion explained.
"Some love, she got hurt because of him!" Joey pointed out.

Britt looked at Joey "Joey, He's learned from his wrong doing! He's making a sacrifice right now." Britt said to Joey, she knew that the good side was already in trouble due to Yami Marik's shadow game.

"No, he's right and for that I am truly sorry. Alright! Destroy my dark half! And if destroying him means destroying me, so be it!" Marik stated.
"Oh? NOW you beg for the Pharaoh's forgiveness. It's a little late for that you fool. You created me, now let me finish what you started," said Yami Marik. Marik released control over Tea and the duel continued.
"Hey, did I just doze off?" Tea wondered.
"Now, I'm going to make my Egyptian God Slime unstoppable. Ra will return shortly but for now I play my Revival Jam. Remember when you faced it last time? It was when your friend Alison faced you and almost wiped you out with the White Tiger. However, I'm going to activate Polymerization and fuse it with my Egyptian God Slime, making it totally untouchable." Yami Marik fused the two together.
"But... it looks the same," Yami stared at the God Slime as he realized it didn't look like it had changed any.
"Oh, I assure you it is quite different. Now I end my turn. Attack me if you dare," Yami Marik dares.
