Britt smiled at Yami knowing she was trying to help him win and she hoped that it was a good thing, She knew this was going to be a big duel and she was worried about it.

'Why did Kaiba give me his Fiend Sanctuary magic card?' Yami wondered.
"I wouldn't trust him. If I were you I'd toss that card right off the tower Yugi," Joey suggested.
"Look Yugi, no one said you had to use the card, so feel free to give it back," stated Kaiba.
However, with a sigh, Yami shuffled it into his deck, "No! What are you doing Yug?" Joey wondered.
"Kaiba!" Yami yelled, pointing at him, "We may not always agree but I do trust you." Yami Marik laughed at that.
"I've been waiting for this moment all my life Pharaoh. Soon your powers will belong to me. And I'll also be taking Britt's millennium bracelet," stated Yami Marik. What! He was after her bracelet? How did he know about her millennium bracelet?
"Marik! Not only will I defeat you, but I'll free you from the darkness that controls you," Yami told him.
"Now that I'd like to see. So come and get me!" Yami Marik looked even more creepy than usual.
"I know Yugi has two Egyptian god cards while Marik only has one but Yugi's are going to be tougher to summon to the field. In order to summon Obelisk and Slifer he'll have to sacrifice a total of six monsters. However, Marik has a way of summoning the Winged Dragon of Ra with a single card," stated Joey to Britt.

Britt hid the bracelet behind her back, truth was she knew the bracelet didn't come off at all...
Yugi and Yami both know that..I can't take my bracelet off so Marik would have to kill me to get it. Britt thought
She looked at Joey "yeah I know. he can find a way to do it though and by the way Joey, you shouldn't of tried to talk him out of that card after all I went through to get Kaiba to help." Britt said to Joey.

"I thought it might have been a trick. Kaiba's normally not to be trusted," Joey explained. "Ra has so many abilities anyway it's almost impossible to beat. And I should know. When I faced that thing it knocked me out cold." Then he thought, looking at Kaiba, 'Wait! Kaiba said all his fancy computers had figured out all the secrets of the Winged Dragon of Ra. So perhaps the card he gave Yugi really can help him win.'
The duel getting ready to start both Yami and Yami Marik shuffle each other's decks. "Haha! Yes! Shuffle well Pharaoh and hope with all your soul that Ra ends up on the bottom," Yami Marik smirked evilly.
"Thank you for helping Kaiba," says Ishizu.
"For what? Even though I gave Yugi the card he'll still have to figure out how to use it. And he'll probably still lose anyway. Then maybe you'll stop believing in these fairy tales. Yugi is no Pharaoh, and he's not destined to save the world. You should stop living in the past. I realized a long time ago that the only way to succeed in life is to look ahead," Kaiba explained.
"That is not true. And after this duel's over, you'll see something amazing take place and then you'll change your ways Kaiba," Ishizu told him.
Kaiba was now ingoring Ishizu as he thought, 'Yugi thinks I gave him that card as an act of friendship. That's ridiculous. Friendship is for the weak.'
When both Yami and Yami Marik had their decks back Roland called out, "Commence dueling!"
Yami Marik licked the millennium rod before saying, "Let the fun begin now!" He called the shadow realm in.
"Oh no! It's another shadow game," says Tea.
"Hang in there Yug," Joey begs.
"Now, you've witnessed tons of my shadow games before but this one will be different. I've thrown in a few twists especially for you. First take a look at this. It's your dear friend Alison." She floats down in her hourglass still crying out for Marik's help, "When our duel's over she'll be gone." He then pushed her back up into the shadows.
"No! I won't let this madness continue Marik!" Yami yelled.
"She's not the only one. Meet my next victom!" Yami Marik yelled as Yugi suddenly appeared floating above Yami, chained to an invisible wall.
"Uh... what?" Yugi was confused.
"Oh no! Yugi!" Yami gasped. Now this wasn't fair at all!"
"Get it? Lose the duel and Yugi will be gone." Yami Marik points,"Plus, you're forgetting my weaker half. He's involved in this conflict as well. So if I lose, the shadows will take him." Marik appeared just like Yugi on Yami Marik's side of the field, but he was unconious. Marik looked very weak right now.
"You can't!" Yami demanded.
"I just did. The shadows will claim an innocent soul no matter who wins," Yami Marik told him.

Britt was really worried for this wasn't what she expected to happen and she worried for Yugi.
Yami Marik starts off after drawing, "I summon Vampiric Leech (500 ATK), and orders it to direct attack." Yami Marik said knowing he delt Yami 500 life points, Yami Marik laughs saying " this monster can attack instantly, even on the first turn!"
Yugi screams in pain, and part of his body dissolves away seeing this Britt knew this was going to be really bad though she didn't know how Marik planned to come after her as she wasn't going to be that easy.. "Pharaoh when you lose life points, Yugi will lose a piece of himself to the darkness. When your life points reach zero, Yugi will be gone forever! which means you will be sealed away!" Yami Marik said. Britt could see Yami was having a hard time contnuing but she heard Yugi "we have to continue to save Alison..don't worry about what happens..You have to win to keep Britt safe too." Yugi said to Yami

"And the same rule applies to my former self," Yami Marik pointed out.
"I won't duel!" Yami cried.
"You must!" Yugi moaned painfully.
"He's right Pharaoh, you must duel. You're playing by my rules now. Don't forget, I can banish little Yugi to the shadows anytime I wish," Yami Marik smirked. 'The Pharaoh may not realize this but once little Yugi is gone he will no longer exist in this world. For without a body he's just a wondering spirit.' And Britt probably realized this as well. If she lost Yugi she'd lose her Pharaoh as well.
"Come on Pharaoh, we can do this. Ever since we first met, we've faced everything together, as a team. This shadow game is no different. I'm still right here next to you and we can defeat Marik together. He'll never win!" Yugi cried.
"You're right Yugi," says Yami, 'So many people are depending on our victory. If Marik wins, he'll gain all three Egyptian God cards, and three innocent souls will be lost. I'm certain now that the reason me and Yugi were brought together was so that we could win this one duel.'
"It's still my move Pharaoh and I'll activate another one of Vampiric Leech's special abilities. By discarding a card, I can switch it to defense position at the end of my turn." Yami Marik also puts Ra into the graveyard as he says that. 'Now with my Egyptian God Card in the graveyard, all I need to do is play Monster Reborn and I can call it to the field.' He then says, "After I do this I'll place one card face down and end my turn."
"My move! I summon Queen's Knight, in defense mode," Yami replied.
"I know what you're up to. You're trying to get enough monsters on the field so you can summon Slifer," Yami Marik said.
"I attack Vampiric Leech with Queen's Knight, and sit two cards face down and end my turn," said Yami.

Yami Marik draws and laughs while Joey and Britt watched worriedly from the sidelines, thinking that Marik is going to summon his God card. Marik says "I've drawn just what I need. But first, I summons Juragedo (1700 ATK), and uses it to destroy Queen's Knight. " Britt watched as Yami's life points go down to 3300, and a piece of Yugi's arm disappears, making Britt cover her mouth in disbelief.
Yami draws, but Yami Marik says "I activate a trap card, Left Arm Offering, which allows me to add a magic card from my deck to my hand, at the cost of discarding all my other cards." Yami Marik said, But right then Yami says "I activate Exchange, allowing each of them to take one card from the other's hand." Yami chooses Yami Marik's Monster Reborn, while Dark Marik takes De-Fusion from Yami's hand. Britt gave a relief sigh seeing what Yami did knowing her Pharaoh would have a better chance now.
Yami smiles "I play Monster Reborn, bringing back Queen's Knight, then I summons King's Knight. With both of them on the field, I can special summon Jack's Knight. " He says, Britt smiles knowing Yami has three monsters on the field.Yami Marik knows Yami plans to summon Slifer, but when he does, Marik will be ready. "That's the spirit! Keep fighting till you win!" Britt said
Yami Marik laughs
Yami said "I ends his turn without attacking."
Yami Marik draws and sets one more card. He says "I could end this duel shortly, but it would be more amusing to extend the game and prolong your suffering." In his plan Marik decided to give Yami some assistance so he can play his God card.
He smirks "I play the magic card, Card of Sanctity" He said, Britt knew. Both players draw until they have six cards in their hands. Then Marik said "I switch Juragedo to defense and ends my turn."
Yami draws, he knew he had seven cards in his hand "Thank you Marik, I sacrifice my knights to Summon Slifer the sky Dragon!" Yami said
Marik laughs, "Your monster is nothing!" He said then Marik activated his set magic card, Dark Spell Regeneration (Revival of the Dark).
Britt knew that card was bad news all together and she worried for both.
"Ra will end this duel and little Yugi will be consumed!" Yami Marik said

(I couldn't tell if Ra was already on the field or not and you're not on Skype for me to question you.)
"I play Monster Reborn from the graveyard to revive Ra! Watch as it appears in its Phoenix mode! In this mode Ra is immune to all attacks for one turn. Get it? Attacking is useless!" Yami Marik called. "Victory in the end will be mine Pharaoh!"
"Woah! The Winged Dragon of Ra is not a monster to be messed with. Especially in its phoenix mode," Joey pointed out.
"But Yugi has a God Card out too. So, aren't they even?" Tristan wondered.
"Not even close. Ra is so much more powerful than Slifer it's shocking, and I should know. It knocked me out cold," Joey stated.
"Slifer's ability will destroy Ra!" Yami told Yami Marik. "Slifer, destroy Ra with your second mouth!" He looks shocked as Slifer's attack is repelled away.
"Haha! You won't destroy my God Card like that. Ra is invincible!" Yami Marik smirked. "Now Ra will release its wrath onto you! After of course I pay 1,000 life points to attack. A small price to pay when it's my weak side who's paying the price, with his body." Almost all of Marik's arm vanishes.

Britt got really upset with Yami and Yugi being hurt by Ra but she tried not to show it.
At the end of the turn, Ra goes back to the graveyard, since it was summoned using Monster Reborn. Marik laughed saying "the worst is yet to come! I'll destroy your life points one by one, as the darkness consumes your body." though Marik was starting to get other ideas. "I can always higher the stakes of the duel Pharaoh." Yami Marik added.
Marik looked at his cards "I activate another trap card, Zombie's Jewel, which allows me to take an opponent's magic card from the graveyard." he said while Laughing evilly, "Do you know which card I'll take Pharaoh?" He asked
Britt already knew he was probably after the Monster reborn but she didn't know what Yami Marik meant by Making the stakes of the duel Higher.though she had a theory

"The card I take, Monster Reborn. You're through!"Yami Marik cries. "You're precious magic card will allow my Winged Dragon of Ra to continue its onslaught. But perhaps there's one card that can save you. The card Kaiba gave you before we started our duel. Of course in the end there's nothing that can truly save you, but perhaps it will perlong this duel a little longer." Now he was just taunting Yami.
Mokuba turned to Kaiba, "Perhaps Yugi can win, if he draws the card you gave him."

"Pick wisely Pharaoh, for you know what happens to those I defeat. Their souls are banished for all eternity. And their treasures become mine." Yami Marik pulled out the Millennium Ring, "Recognize this? It belongs to your friend Bakura. I took it from him after I sent him to the shadow realm." What? Bakura was banished to the shadow realm? That explains why none of them have seen him for a long time.
Yami thinks, wondering what he can do now, "We can do this. We just have to draw the card Kaiba gave us," Yugi assures Yami, in his head. "Kaiba put his faith in us, now we must put our faith in him."
Yami nods and closes his eyes, drawing a card and placing it face down, without even looking at it. "I place one card face down." This probably confused Britt. What was Yami thinking!? How'd he know what he just played?

Britt was worried on this move she knew it was a risk. She wondered what he was planning. She wanted to go hide for she knew she'd be next if Yami Marik succeeded. She was getting scared.

Ishizu put her hand on Britt in comfort, "Do not worry, the pharaoh will win this duel. The faiths have foreseen it. There is no doubt in his mind he's drawn the card he was seeking. The one Kaiba gave to him." She didn't want to say what it was cause Yami Marik would then know and counter act the card.
Yami Marik just laughs, "Pharaoh, you must be getting desperate. Why else would you play a card without even looking at it?"
"You wouldn't understand!" Yami snaps. "Now, make your move."
"Gladly!" Yami Marik draws. 'Now, it's time for Ra to come out and wipe the Pharaoh out for good!' He laughs, "I play Monster Reborn and bring Ra back from the graveyard once again. Now I'll activate Ra's most devastating ability, making it completely indestructible and sealing your fate." He starts vanishing.
"What's happening to your body Marik?" Yami asks.
"I'm transferring all but one of my life points to Ra, fusing myself with it. I have become one with my Egyptian God Card!" Yami Marik was sitting on top of Ra and there was only his eye left on the field. "This is the same tactic I used on your friend Bakura. But that's not all. I also sacrifice my Juragedo to raise Ra's attack even higher, to 4,699 attack points, more than enough to finish you. Just one attack and this duel is over."
"Oh no! If Marik attacks he wins the shadow game," Joey gasped.

Britt looked at Ishizu as she nod while listening to her, she freaked out some though when she saw the Winged Dragon of Ra have so many attack points. Though she was more worried when Joey started speaking.
Tristan punched Joey in the arm "You're not helping! Look at Britt, she's a nervous wreck and you're making it worse." Tristan said
