1.No adult RPGs. This means they have to be rated T or below. credit to Proboards TOS for this rule.
2.Absolutely NO godmoding/powerplaying will be tolerated and will result in suspension from the RPGs. This includes having 100% perfect characters, controlling another person's character and killing off someone's character without permission. There is no excuse for it and quite frankly it's just bad manners. It's forbidden for both group and one on one rpgs.
3. If a certain player has to be absent for a lengthy amount of time for any reason, it is that player's responsibility to let the rpg host and other players know ahead of time. It is not fair to keep them waiting.
4. No taking the plot on a tangent without warning/permission.
5. No telling people who to pair their characters with.
6. Roleplaying is supposed to be a team effort so rpg hosts are not to think they have a right to take total control of the rpg plot. This is an elaboration of rule #2.
7. No telling people how to portray their characters..requests are allowed, especially if the players discussed it before hand and are fine with a certain portrayal. However, making demands are not allowed.
8. NO using RPGs to vent your real life frustrations. It isn't healthy and is bound to ruin the fun for those involved. RPGs are supposed to be for fun, not a counselling session with your therapist.
9. Everyone has a right to pick, choose and refuse who to roleplay with, so if someone has a legitimate reason not to roleplay with you, or to cut you off as an RP buddy, accept it. Don't keep harassing them until they change their minds.
10.Please don't rush the RPGs, just in case your partner is busy at times.
11. This is sort of a sister rule for #9. Everyone has their limit they set in roleplaying, whether it be to avoid sexually explicit or any sort of explicit activity, not doing yaoi/yuri couples that there is no evidence for in the fandom, asking for full control of the character you are playing, how far you wish to stray from the fandom, or putting in your best effort in roleplay posts while contributing to the "story." (i.e. not writing just one or two words) The roleplayers are entitled to have these limits, so PLEASE make an effort to respect them, as long as they go in line with the other guidelines here. However, keep your expectations reasonable and do not go overboard. (expecting someone to do roleplays with nonstop drama, demanding they do sexual rps, etc.) If you disagree with a certain limit, just find someone else you can negotiate with.
Any RPGs violating the following rules will be removed.
